Bordeaux 2000 is a great vintage across all appellations from petit chateaux to the top classified growths.
The
wines have wonderful fruit, balance, and depth of flavor with great
aging potential, perhaps being comparable to a firm version of 1990
or possibly even 1962. Our impressions were confirmed in Robert
Parker’s Bordeaux Issue #134 of The Wine Advocate, where he states:
“...it is a phenomenal year that might turn out to be one of
